Carer Support South Lakes

Each year we work with more than 1,000 Carers in South Lakeland.

Your donations, whether large or small, make a huge difference to us and help us to continue our work with Carers, supporting them and allowing them to continue their caring role.

Fundraising Campaigns

Give them a break

South Lakeland Carers are delighted to be working with the Westmorland Gazette to raise the profile of unpaid Carers in South Lakeland.

The Give Them A Break campaign aims to raise £20,000 to give people who voluntarily care for a loved-one, relative or friend a much-needed respite break. This could involve a one-night dinner, bed and breakfast stay at a Lake District hotel, a night away at a local guest house or Airbnb, a day activity such as a spa break, an outdoor adventure trip for a youngster, or a day’s walking up a fell with a guide.

We hope the campaign will recognise and reward our Carers while raising awareness of the great work being done by South Lakeland Carers.

Complete the coupon from the paper and return it to:
