Three peaks Challenge – Charity Challenge 2020
Are you ready for the Three Peaks Challenge on the 13th-14th June 2020? It involves climbing the three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales, often within 24 hours. The total walking distance is 23 miles (37km) and the total ascent is 3064 metres (10,052ft). We have 5 spaces available to represent Carer Support South Lakes. Visit the official website for full details www.threepeakschallenge.uk/national-three-peaks-challenge/
In return for fundraising for Carer Support South Lakes, you’ll be able to take part in your chosen event with no registration fee. Runners and walkers will also receive an event t-shirt or vest. Plus, you’ll have the knowledge that you’re helping to support carers across the South Lakes!
You can take part as an individual, a couple, or a team - we’re open to all.
In 2020 we’re aiming to raise £10,000 across three charity events; Great North Swim, Three Peaks Challenge and the Great North Run . All the money raised will help to fund activities for Young Carers, our sitting service, the counselling service, and our much-needed support groups. Find out more about the Great North Swim and the Great North Run. Make 2020 the year you run a half marathon, complete an open water swim, or climb the three peaks...and raise some pounds for us while you do it!
